Waynesboro: 34-year-old woman arrested for brush fire on Tiffany Drive

A 34-year-old Waynesboro woman was arrested after allegedly setting a brush fire on Tiffany Drive near Sonic Friday night.

Deandrea Walker allegedly told witnesses at the scene that she had set the fire at approximately 10:45 p.m.

Officers detained Walker, and she was identified by witnesses on scene.

Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for Walker for the following alleged violations:

  • §18.2-81 — Burning or destroying personal property valued over $1,000 (felony)
  • §18.2-460 — Obstructing justice without force (misdemeanor)

Walker was taken into custody without incident, according to WPD.
