Water Country closes for the season

AFP

busch gardensThere are just a few days left to experience Water Country USA’s newest family-thrill attraction Colossal Curl®, plus the park’s vast array of attractions that includes 42 water slides, refreshing pools, lazy rivers and kid-friendly play areas.

Virginia’s largest water park will close for the season after its last full day of operation on Sept. 1. It will reopen in spring 2015 for another season of fun in the sun.

The world’s most beautiful theme park will also be open for Labor Day, but will move to weekend-only operations starting Sept. 6.

Over the next few weeks, Busch Gardens’ scare experts will transform the Virginia theme park into a land of frightening haunts for Busch Gardens® Howl-O-Scream. The parks’ 16th-annual Halloween event, featuring five themed Terror-tories™, six haunted houses and frightfully good shows, dining and shopping, opens Sep. 12 and continues Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 26.
