Washington County: Abingdon man killed, ejected from SUV after crash on Route 58

A 25-year-old Abingdon man was killed in a fatal single-vehicle crash on Thursday in Washington County.

Reginald K. Hadlock was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Hadlock was ejected from the Mazda Tribute he was driving eastbound on Route 58.

According to Virginia State Police, the crash occurred at 1:22 p.m. on Jeb Stuart Highway.

The crash occurred east of the intersection with Route 706, when the Hadlock lost control and went off of the right side of the road. The SUV then struck a guardrail and rolled over.

Hadlock was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
