
Lynchburg Police apprehended seven individuals in a warrant round-up in an effort to address violence in the city.
The operation led to temporary disruptions throughout the city including road closures. A K9 unit also aided police officers.
Six individuals were apprehended on Feb. 27. An additional wanted individual was apprehended today.
The effort was a collaboration between the Lynchburg Police Department, the Virginia State Police and the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force.
