VMI offensive lineman Brad Davis (Victoria, Va./Fuqua School) was named to the 2018 preseason second team All-SoCon squad on offense.

The league announced the teams this week from the conference headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Davis (#79), a 6-4, 301-pound tackle was tabbed one of the most improved players on offense in spring practice and has added 40+ pounds while emerging as a projected starter on the offensive line.  Davis lettered as a true freshman in 2017 and participated in six games seeing action as a reserve against Air Force, Catawba, Robert Morris, Chattanooga, Furman, and Western Carolina.

Davis is a Dean’s List mechanical engineering major and was named to the 2017-18 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
