A school bus driver has now been charged after 10 children and two adults were sent to the hospital after a crash on Friday in Campbell County.

Tracy L. Taylor, 62, of Bedford, has been charged with failing to yield the right of way.

All of the individuals sent to the hospital had minor injuries, according to Virginia State Police.

The two-vehicle crash, involving two Campbell County school buses, occurred on Friday at 3:52 p.m. at the intersection of Bee Drive and Enterprise Drive.

One school bus was attempting to make a left turn onto southbound Enterprise Drive from Bee Drive when it struck the second school bus heading northbound on Enterprise Drive.

There is a stop sign at the intersection on Bee Drive but there is not a stop sign on Enterprise Drive.

The crash remains under investigation.
