stevelandes2Del. Steve Landes, R-Weyers Cave, received the endorsement of the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters in the race for the 25th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters for re-election to the House of Delegates,” said Landes. “I am grateful to the men and women of Albemarle, Augusta and Rockingham Counties that put their lives on the line to safeguard the residents across Virginia.”

Delegate Landes’ “goal to keep Virginians safe by having a strong commitment to Public Safety has earned our endorsement,” stated R. Michael Mohler, President of the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters. The endorsement was made after consultations with locals from the area and across the Commonwealth.

The Virginia Professional Fire Fighters is an association of local unions of the International Association of Fire Fighters, representing career professional firefighters and paramedics in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Landes represents the 25th House District, which includes parts of Albemarle, Augusta and Rockingham Counties. Landes was first elected in 1995 and is now serving his tenth term.
