Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy’s 2015 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church from 6-8 p.m. (Parking is available underneath St. Paul’s next to the State Capitol on 8th Street at 815 E Grace St, Richmond, VA 23219.)

The keynote speaker will be Michael Cassidy, CEO of the Commonwealth Institute for Fiscal Analysis (TCI), a nonprofit think-tank incubated by VICPP that is focused on providing independent research, analysis and public education on budget and tax issues, with emphasis on the impact of fiscal decisions on low-and moderate-income Virginians. Cassidy analyzed budgets in the White House for Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and later for Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine. Originally from Boston, he came to Virginia to earn his Masters from The College of William and Mary, where he was a Thomas Jefferson Scholar.

Tickets to attend the 2015 Annual Meeting are $50 (for non-members), $25 for members and $15 for students. Registration can be completed using this form and payment can be made at the door or by donating at www.virginiainterfaithcenter.org/give.

Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy’s 2016 Day for All People

The 2016 Day for All People will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Virginia Union University’s Living and Learning Center. Virginia Union University is located at 1500 N. Lombardy Street, Richmond, VA 23220.

Tickets to attend are $30 to attend the day-long advocacy event, and $40 for transportation to/from Blacksburg, Fairfax and Norfolk. Transportation to/from the VUU Campus and the General Assembly will be provided.
