VDOT has updated its schedules for road work in the Culpeper, Lynchburg and Staunton districts in the coming week.
Scheduled work is subject to change due to inclement weather and material supplies. Motorists are advised to watch for slow-moving tractors during mowing operations. When traveling through a work zone, be alert to periodic changes in traffic patterns and lane closures.

- Mile marker 258 to 255, southbound – Shoulder closures including along Exit 257 off-ramp for shoulder repairs, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Route 33 (Rawley Pike) – Flagger traffic control between Laurel Woods Lane and Switzer Lake Road/Skidmore Fork for paving, line-painting and guardrail work related to road widening project, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through May 2025.
