VCU, down 10 at halftime to St. Bonaventure on Friday, hung half a hundred on the Bonnies in a banger of a second half on its way to a 75-61 win.

The Rams (16-4, 6-1 A-10) shot 16-of-26 from the floor and 8-of-13 from three in the big second half, and scored 15 points in transition.

Joe Bamisile led VCU with 18 points (7-of-12 FG, 2-of-4 3FG, 2-of-4 FT) and added six rebounds and six assists to lead the way.

Phil Russell chipped in with 16 points (5-of-11 FG, 4-of-7 3FG, 2-of-2 FT).

Max Shulga also had a nice night – 13 points (4-of-10 FG, 2-of-4 3FG, 3-of-4 FT) and five assists.

The win was the sixth in a row for VCU, which is now tied atop the A-10 standings with George Mason.
