uva logoVirginia will host VCU in men’s basketball action during ESPN’s 24-hour Hoops Marathon on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the network announced late Monday (Aug. 12).

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena and the game will be televised on ESPN2. Virginia and VCU will play each other for the first time since the 1998-99 season with the Cavaliers owning a 10-1 all-time series advantage.

The ACC is expected to release Virginia’s complete nonconference schedule and the dates and times of the remainder of the conference games in late August or early September.

2013-14 men’s basketball season tickets are on sale now. There are four available upper level price levels for season ticket holders: $168, $219, $347 and $444. Season tickets at these four price levels include savings of $105-$274 off the single-game ticket price. UVa faculty and staff may purchase up to four season tickets at an additional 20 percent discount.

The deadline for priority ordering is Sept. 6.

For more information or to purchase season tickets, fans should contact the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821). Fans can also purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
