UVA men’s soccer match against Virginia Tech moved to 2:30 p.m.

uva soccerThe UVA men’s soccer match against No. 21 Virginia Tech has been moved to 2:30 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 7) due to impending weather slated to hit the Charlottesville area in the evening.

The game will still stream live on ACC Network Extra, available to authenticated subscribers of ESPN3 through WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

All promotions planned for the match will go on as scheduled. Virginia men’s soccer scarves will be handed out to the first 1,500 fans and Virginia students will receive sabre rewards points for attending the contest. The Klöckner Stadium gates will open at 1:30 p.m.

Fans with tickets to the match that are unable to attend can: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm., or (b) bring their ticket to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival or (c) exchange their ticket for a General Admission ticket to a Virginia men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse and / or baseball game within the calendar year based on availability.

This exchange can happen through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in advance or at the ticket window of that facility on game day.
