Virginia scored 17 seconds in, with faceoff specialist Griff Meyer finding McCabe Millon to start a 7-0 run, and the 17th-ranked ‘Hoos never looked back on the way to a 19-7 win at Stony Brook on Saturday.

The win was #100 at UVA for coach Lars Tiffany, who became the third UVA coach in program history to get to the century mark, joining legends Jim “Ace” Adams and Dom Starsia.

Brendan Millon (5g, 2a) led all players with seven points. McCabe Millon (2g, 4a) added six points, and Meyer scored two goals and logged his first career assist.

Meyer was 11-of-17 at the faceoff X, his second straight game finishing above .500 on faceoffs.

In his first start of the season, Kyle Morris (1-0) earned the win in net and stopped eight Seawolve shots.
