UVA basketball retained the #2 spot in the Associated Press Top 25 this week.
Virginia (25-1, 13-1 ACC) has won five straight games since losing All-America candidate Justin Anderson to injury in the first half of a Feb. 7 win over Louisville. The Cavs defeated Florida State 51-41 Sunday night to maintain their place atop the ACC standings, a game and a half ahead of Notre Dame and two games ahead of Duke.
Duke (24-3, 11-3 ACC) holds the #4 spot in the AP rankings. Notre Dame (24-4, 12-3 ACC) is 10th.
Louisville (21-6, 9-5 ACC) dropped from ninth to 12th after going 1-1 last week, beating Miami at home on Saturday following a loss on the road at Syracuse on Wednesday.
North Carolina dropped from 12 to 15 in the AP poll after a 1-1 week that included an overtime loss to Duke and a blowout home win over Georgia Tech.
