UVA announces on-sale dates for men’s basketball single-game tickets

uva basketballUVA announced the on-sale dates for single-game tickets for men’s basketball home games at John Paul Jones Arena during the 2016-17 season.

2016-17 Virginia men’s basketball season ticket holders and current Virginia Athletics Foundation donors will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets in advance of the public during a pre-sale beginning Wednesday, Nov. 2 online at VirginiaSports.com. Individuals who qualify to participate in this pre-sale opportunity will receive an email with more information.

Single-game tickets in sections 301 and 302 will be available for purchase beginning on Friday, Nov. 4 for the home games against St. Francis Brooklyn (Nov. 15), Yale (Nov. 20), Grambling State (Nov. 22), Robert Morris (Dec. 17), Florida State (Dec. 31) and Wake Forest (Jan. 8).

Seats in sections 301 and 302 are normally held for UVA students and the Nov. 22, Dec. 17, Dec. 31 and Jan. 8 games occur when classes are not in session at the University.

Tickets for the games on Nov. 15 and Nov. 20 and availability for additional games is based on unclaimed student tickets and unused tickets held for hosting prospective student-athletes. These tickets will be sold online only at VirginiaSports.com beginning at 5 p.m. on each of the on-sale dates listed below. Men’s basketball season tickets are sold out for the 2016-17 season.

Fans are also encouraged to follow @UVAMensHoops on Twitter for the latest information on single-game ticket availability and visit StubHub.com to purchase single-game tickets to Virginia men’s basketball home games. StubHub.com, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, is the official fan-to-fan secondary ticket marketplace for Cavalier fans.
