Beginning Wednesday, December 19, Charlottesville Area Transit will detour Route 7 (and its weekend counterpart, Route 12) around the southern portion of Emmet Street.
The following bus stops will not receive service:
- 10472 – Emmet St @ the Central Grounds Garage
- 10660 – Emmet St @ the Snyder Tennis Courts
- 17102 – Emmet St @ Sprigg Lane
- 16819 – Emmet St @ Ruffner Hall
The detour is expected to last through Monday, Jan. 14, 2019.
During the detour, CAT routes will use Stadium Road, Whitehead Road, Alderman Road, and Ivy Road to reach Emmet Street.
