Wolfe Brandon Douglas (2)Drenning Sarah Kay (2)The Waynesboro Police Department has arrested a Waynesboro woman and an Augusta County man after they were caught inhaling fumes from canned air duster, also called huffing, while sitting in a vehicle on Ohio Street.

Sarah Kay Drenning, 31, and Brandon Douglas Wolfe, 24, face the same two charges, public intoxication and intentionally inhaling noxious chemicals. On Tuesday at approximately 5:00 p.m., a citizen called police to report the two subjects in a vehicle acting suspiciously.  When officers arrived, they found both Wolfe and Drenning with a can of air duster inhaling the fumes causing intoxication.

Due to her level of delirium, the Waynesboro First Aid Crew had to transport Drenning to Augusta Health Emergency Department for treatment.  She was released four hours later into the custody of officers. Wolfe was examined by WFAC but not transported.  Officers then arrested him.

Drenning is being held on $1,000 bond at Middle River Regional Jail; Wolfe is free on bond.
