Trump says ‘a lot of people’ want him to be dictator: Where are you on that one?

Donald Trump said Tuesday that “a lot of people” say they’d “rather have a dictator” to stop crime.

Have at it, MAGA: raise your hand if you’d “rather have a dictator.”

Frustrating thing here: too many of y’all have your hands up right now.

So, it’s OK when it’s your guy who wants to be dictator.

Gotcha.

I’d suggest, be careful what you wish for.

Funny how y’all were the ones who moaned about your guns when Barack Obama and Joe Biden were in the White House, saying you needed them to be able to stop a tyrannical government from trampling on your rights.

“I’m not a dictator. I just had to stop crime,” said Trump today, once again citing crime data that he’s making up off the top of his head as justification for putting armed soldiers on the streets of DC, as he is threatening to do the same in Chicago.

It’s not about crime; it’s about creating a distraction as the people at the top rob the poor, the working class and middle class to give more money to the already disgustingly filthy rich.

Trump and his stooges have been selling you on America being engaged in a class war, and they’re half-right about that.

Thing is, it’s not liberal elites who are the bad guys.

It’s elites of whatever political persuasion – doesn’t matter, liberal, MAGA, agnostic, simply opportunistic – who aren’t paying their fair share, take home a lot more than their fair share, and are using good people armed with guns that we paid for who signed up to protect our country from foreign threats to keep you from being a threat to their lavish lifestyles.

Still rather have a dictator?
