Top Rope Pro Wrestling announced today that it is pushing back a planned May Ric Flair tribute show due to the tragic death of Reid Flair, 24, who was found unresponsive in a Charlotte, N.C., hotel room on Friday.
General Manager Marvin Ward said in a statement that Top Rope wants to move the show to a later date “allowing Ric and his family all the time they need to grieve.”
Tickets for the May show had been scheduled to go on sale at the April 13 Night of the Superstars at Waynesboro High School, Waynesboro, Va. A ticket sale for another huge Top Rope Pro Wrestling event is now being offered at the April 13 show.
Details for “The Reunion: HBK and Diesel” will be finalized on Monday, according to Ward.
Ticketholders for the April 13 Night of the Superstars will have the first chance to purchase tickets to “The Reunion.”
“Hold on to your seats, fans. This is going to be huge,” Ward said.
