Tim Kaine | Support Jody Wagner

Chris Graham

This is an important year for Virginia as we work to elect new leaders to guide us through these difficult times. As we navigate a challenging economy and global recession, Creigh Deeds will need a lieutenant governor who can serve as a steady and trusted partner. Having known Jody Wagner for years – both as a colleague and as a friend – and seen first-hand her ability to work across the aisle to reach commonsense solutions, I hope that you will join me in supporting her.

Jody has been a key asset to the Commonwealth since 2002, serving Virginians in both the Kaine and Warner administrations. Her fiscal stewardship is one of the reasons we have been named the “Best Managed State” and the “Best State for Business.” She helped to dig Virginia out from under a record budget shortfall inherited from the Gilmore administration, took the lead in maintaining our AAA credit rating, and played a key role in forging a bipartisan compromise in 2008 that invested billions of dollars in higher education infrastructure in the Commonwealth.

The national economic climate has made this a difficult time for our state, but Jody is the right leader to help us move forward. I will be with Jody on Tuesday, August 25th to show my support for her. I hope that you will be able to join us at this wonderful event:

Special Reception with Jody Wagner and Gov. Tim Kaine
Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009
6:30-8 p.m.
McLean, Virginia
Please RSVP to Noam Lee at
(703.636.7262) or [email protected]

If you are not in the area and cannot attend, please consider making a contribution to Virginians for Wagner. Your contribution of $10, $50, $100 or any amount will go a long way to reach new voters, get Jody’s message out, and keep the campaign knocking on doors and making calls. Also, please check out JodyForVA.com to see when Jody will be visiting your town next.

I look forward to seeing you on August 25th and want to thank you in advance for your generous contributions to the Virginians for Wagner campaign. Please stand with Jody and me as we fight to keep Virginia moving forward.
