Lynchburg: Three students charged in gun incident at middle school

Three students have been charged in the gun possession incident at Sandusky Middle School in Lynchburg on Monday.

All three students were 14-year-old males. The names of the juveniles have not been released.

Those charged include the student who brought the stolen gun to school, a student who purchased the gun and an additional boy who allegedly handled the gun.

The middle school was on lockdown Monday morning, according to the Lynchburg Police Department.
