Ten individuals from New York were arrested Sunday for stealing a large amount of merchandise from a Northern Virginia Target store.
Officers responded to the report of possible theft at the 1200 Edwards Ferry Road NE location at approximately 5:28 p.m. on Sept. 1.
Eight adults and two juveniles were arrested in the Leesburg retail store parking lot as two vehicles attempted to exit. Officers stopped the vehicles and located a large amount of merchandise from Target and other stores in the vehicles.
The adult suspects were transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
The two juvenile suspects, also from New York, were arrested but were released to a family member.
Charges
The eight adult suspects were charged with grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
- Yerianny De los Angel Carrasquero-Salas, 26, of New York,also charged with having a fictitious registration
- Fernando De Jesus Pizarro Paredes, 35, of New York, also charged with having an open container of alcohol
- Yoccelin M. Rodriguez Barroso, 31, of New York, also charged with not having a driver’s license and having an open container of alcohol
- Amilkor J. Camargo Sarmiento, 29, of New York
- Keider J. Vacca Velazco, 22, of New York
- Nicandro Aguirre Guerra, 30, of New York
- Yetsai Del Carmen Gerrero Toledo, 22, of New York
- Edison Pinto Pardron, 25, of New York
Each adult suspect is being held on a $2,500 bond for the larceny and burglary charges and a $500 bond for the contributing to the delinquency of a minor charge.
The ten individuals are also under investigation for additional theft related to other items found in the two vehicles.
