jmu logoDue to inclement weather predicted for the area, Sunday afternoon’s women’s lacrosse game between James Madison and High Point has been postponed until Monday afternoon.

First draw is set for 1 p.m. Pending conditions later this weekend, the game could be played on the normal grass competition field or the turf field, both of which are at University Park, with a decision to be made in the coming days. Check JMUSports.com throughout the weekend for updates, as well as @JMULacrosse and @JMUSports on Twitter.

The meeting between the Dukes and Panthers is the first all-time between the two programs. JMU currently sits at 2-1 while High Point holds an 0-2 mark entering play today. The Panthers take on Virginia Tech at home this evening at 4 p.m.

All lacrosse games at University Park are free admission. Gate open one hour prior to the opening draw. For a list of promotions going on throughout the season, click here.
