stauntonitesJoin Downtown Staunton for the July StauntoNites event for the July 14 Hot Summer Fun Sale, organized by grant recipients Lynda Andrae and Alissa Ritchie of The Clocktower.

The sale will include a “sidewalk” sale where downtown businesses will have clearance merchandise available throughout the day and kid activities and music from children’s performer, Ramblin’ Davey in air-conditioned, smoke-free comfort at The Clocktower Restaurant.

11AM to 5PM: Stroll the streets to find the best bargains of the season at your favorite stores. Make a day of it! Start with the businesses and Famer’s Market in the Wharf and the Train Station, then walk the Beverley street area to shop all of the sales.

4-8PM: Grab the kids and get out of the heat and into the Clocktower Restaurant’s Downtown 27 with cool family activities and refreshments. There will be a handprint painter craft from Cherish Every Moment, where children turn their handprints into animals. Also available will be various games with prizes, plus cookies and punch, fresh from The Clocktower Restaurant.

4:30-7PM: Ramblin’ Davey and his trusty horse, Wallace will entertain with kid-friendly

music on The Downtown 27 stage.
