Staunton Senior Center Members Brave Storm Reports

Contributors

Seventeen Staunton Senior Center members braved the weather reports and signed in for a fun day in spite of all of the predictions. A crew departed for an early trip to Walmart, while others exercised with Carol from the Y.

The music group that was supposed to play after lunch began a little after 11:30, and all present were delighted with the lunchtime tunes, even inspiring some to dance a jig! Two out of the twelve birthday people were present, so the birthday song and cake were definitely the order of the day. It was Red Hat Day as well, so there was quite a bit of red and purple going on with attire of both men and women.

The traditional RHD drawing was very appropriately a glass snow man decoration! So in spite of the weather predictions, most all activities went on as planned at SSC today!
