The Staunton Augusta Art Center presents its 49th Art in the Park at Gypsy Hill on Saturday, May 23 from 10am-5pm and on Sunday, May 24 from noon-5pm in the bandstand area of Staunton’s historic, municipal Gypsy Hill Park.
The tree-lined setting provides an intimate venue for the participating artists selected through a competitive jury process. Area musicians donate their time and offer a wide variety of musical entertainment at the bandstand every hour. Art activities for children are offered under the biggest tent for a nominal fee.
Food vendors include Delicious Dishe food truck, Ubon Thai, Lion’s Club hot dogs and hamburgers, Kline’s Ice Cream, and Blue Ridge Kettle Korn. There is something for everyone throughout the two-day festival.
There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome.
