State Police: One fatality in Wednesday evening crash on Virginia interstate

A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Hanover has claimed one life, according to the Virginia State Police.

The accident occurred at 6:29 p.m. on Wednesday at the 31-mile marker on southbound interstate.

VSP did not release many details on the accident saying they are working to identify the victim and notify next of kin.

This crash remains under investigation.
