At 9:01 a.m. Tuesday (March 18, 2014), Virginia State Police were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near the 210 mile marker in Augusta County. There is one confirmed fatality.
One northbound travel lane of I-81 was re-opened by 10:35 a.m. The other lane will remain closed for at least another hour. Northbound traffic should anticipate delays.
