SSC Fall Dance Committee Met for Final Review Oct. 17

Contributors

ssc-headerStaunton Senior Center’s fall dance had many good things going for it, the committee decided. They included Center members at the event, transportation provided for members, a terrific poster, great decorations (nice and simple to assemble and take down), fabulous food, and the military display of local soldiers from WWII was well received.

Challenges to meet next year included making sure advertising took place in the local papers, especially the GO! magazine; making sure the schedule is such that there are no other major events in competition with the dance; advertising, advertising, advertising; consideration of changing venues in order to include beer and wine; and increasing the ticket cost.
