It’s seem an anachronism – a winter weather advisory in the spring. But the National Weather Service has the Shenandoah Valley under a winter weather advisory on Tuesday with a forecast of 2-4 inches of snow.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from 5 a.m. Tuesday to 3 p.m. Friday. The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday morning, with the snow tapering off into the afternoon hours.
Highs Tuesday are expected to eventually reach into the lower 40s, according to AccuWeather.com, By Friday, high temperatures are forecast in the 60s, with highs into the lower 70s by early next week.
But for now, more snow.
