Spotsylvania County: Connecticut man dead after motorcycle crash on I-95

A Connecticut man is dead after his motorcycle was involved in a collision on Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County on Saturday.

Antoine L. Hall, of Windsor, Conn., who was on the motorcycle, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to Spotsylvania Regional Hospital where he later died, according to Virginia State Police.

The fatal three-vehicle crash occurred at the 120-mile marker on I-95 north at 7:15 p.m.

According to police, Hall’s Honda motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it attempted to go between a Chevrolet Silverado in the middle lane and a Buick Enclave in the left lane.

The motorcycle collided with the Chevrolet, and the impact caused the motorcycle rider, Hall, to be thrown into the Buick.

Hall was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 47-year-old male from Port Charlotte, Fla., and an adult passenger were not injured in the crash. They were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the Buick, a 54-year-old male from Cortland, N.Y., and an adult passenger were not injured. They were wearing seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation.
