“So You Think You Can Dance” and “High School Musical 3” dancer Jaimie Goodwin will be in Waynesboro Saturday, Feb. 6, and Sunday, Feb. 7, to teach a benefit workshop in association with Old Dominion Performance Arts Studio.

Goodwin was a finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance” and a featured dancer in the latest hit movie in the “High School Musical” series.

The benefit workshop will be held at Kate Collins Middle School in Waynesboro. Proceeds will go to Hayley Kudro, a 5-year-old Waynesboro girl and Old Dominion dancer who is battling cancer.

Classes will be offered for beginners (ages 7+ years) through advance levels. Classes will focus on jazz, lyrical and contemporary styles of dance.

Saturday classes will focus on technique, and Sunday classes will focus on learning combinations/dances.

Classes are open to the community.

For more information, contact Old Dominion Performance Arts Studio director Dulcey Fuqua at 540.241.4711 or [email protected].
