The Friday, Jan. 10 episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.816 million viewers, up 8 percent over the 2.616 million viewers on average who tuned into the Jan. 3 episode.
The Jan. 3 episode had competition from a down-to-the-wire Orange Bowl college football game between Ohio State and Clemson.
The Dec. 27 SmackDown had averaged 2.852 million viewers.
