Sheriff: Augusta County woman reported missing after not returning from walk

Update: Thursday, 3:37 p.m. Crystal Dawn Yount has been safely l0cated, according to a report from the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.


First report: Thursday, 11:28 a.m. A Verona woman has been reported missing after not returning from a walk on Tuesday.

Crystal Dawn Yount, 53, left her Augusta County residence to go for a walk and never returned, according to a family member who reported her missing last night.

Yount is a white female who is 5’2” tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. She has black hair and hazel eyes.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance locating Yount.
