Price Rotary Senior Center served as a host site for a Senior Health Fair on Monday April 15th. Whitney Meyerhoeffer, with SouthernCare Hospice, coordinated the vendors and publicity for this event.
There were quite a number of vendors this year. Agencies that were represented are as follows: Skyline Terrace, Dutch Haven Assisted Living, Life Care Center of New Market, Bridgewater Retirement Community, Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, RMH Wellness Center, Harrisonburg Community Health Center, Erin E. Layman Attorney at Law, Department of Social Services – Adult Protective Services, Cat’s Cradle, Chronic Disease Self-Management, Harrisonburg Recreation Center, Harrisonburg Fire Department.
Although there were only a few outside guests in addition to the 16 PRSC members at the fair, the vendors were positive about the networking time they experienced.
