Sears Hill Bridge maintenance in Staunton rescheduled

Maintenance work on the Sears Hill Bridge in Staunton, previously scheduled for the week beginning Monday, May 12, will be rescheduled to the following week.

The Sears Hill Bridge will now be temporarily closed for maintenance from Monday, May 19 through Saturday, May 24, to clean and seal the wooden stair risers. The work will protect the risers from exposure to the elements. During this period, pedestrians are advised to find alternative routes between Sears Hill and downtown.
