Join the Brownsburg Community Association for its second annual Run of the Mill 5k, a point-to-point road race, jog or walk from historic Brownsburg to historic Wade’s Mill.
The Run of the Mill course follows slightly hilly tarmac terrain through beautiful farmland, crossing several creeks and finishing at Wade’s Mill, cheered on by cows, sheep and local residents.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 31 Academy Alley, Brownsburg 24415. Race starts at 10 a.m.
All ages and abilities are welcome!
Age groups: <10 | 10-15 | 16-20 | 21-30 | 31-40 | 41-50 | 51-60 | 61-70 | +71
The top three female and male finishers receive prizes. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals.
Awards, music and food at the Finish Line.
Pre-registration is $20 by check/mail or $21 by card/online and includes an iconic “Run of the Mill” t-shirt. Pre-registration closes on March 31. After that date, registration is only available on the morning of the race for $25.
Proceeds support the Brownsburg Community Associations’ local scholarship fund, local first responders and community projects.
Directions: Exit 200 off of I-81. Go west on Sterrett Road until you arrive in Brownsburg. Registration is at Asbury United Methodist Church, 31 Academy Alley, Brownsburg, VA 24415
