Route 29 Advisory Panel meets Thursday in Staunton

route 29The Route 29 Project Delivery Advisory Panel will hold its biweekly meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Staunton District Headquarters, 811 Commerce Drive, Staunton. The panel will meet from 2-3 p.m., followed by a briefing at the Northwestern Regional Traffic Operations Center. The panel members will be briefed on the TOC’s role in managing traffic and the adaptive traffic signal control technology that is being installed on the Route 29 corridor.

The meeting agenda is available on the Route 29 Solutions page on VDOT’s website. The presentation that will be used during the meeting will also be posted on the web page before the meeting begins.

The meeting is open to the public to observe the discussions, but public comments will not be taken. The public can submit comments online at www.Route29Solutions.org and may access a web link to watch the meeting live online. The tour and briefing at the Traffic Operations Center will not be live-streamed.
