If there was ever any doubt about why Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was “running for president,” that came to an end with his interview on Sunday morning on Fox News.
It was always a coordinated effort between Kennedy and Donald Trump. The only difference now that Kennedy has formally endorsed Trump is, the Kennedy sycophants who wanted us to believe otherwise have Kennedy himself telling us about the coordination.

“No, there there’s been no commitments,” Kennedy told “Fox News Sunday” anchor Shannon Bream, who had just asked him about any talk between himself and Trump about a Cabinet position or other position in a potential Trump administration.
“I met with President Trump, with his family, with his close advisors, and we just made a general commitment that we were going to work together,” Kennedy said.
Uh huh, believe that.
Kennedy mounted a brief campaign for the Democratic Party nomination, then dropped out when it was obvious that he was getting no traction, only to complain that the party process was “rigged” against him.
Sound familiar?
Then Kennedy declared that he would run as an independent, the thinking being that he could take votes away from President Biden.
When it became clear from the polling that around 60 percent of Kennedy’s support was coming from potential Trump voters, he had to reconsider that plan.
Which he did a little too late, to be blunt. Kennedy was still polling in the mid-teens in early July, but he was below 4 percent in the polling averages before formally dropping out on Friday.
Of note: Kennedy is staying on the ballot in 10 swing states “where my presence in the race would have helped Vice President Harris and would have harmed President Trump,” as he described it in his chat with Bream on Fox News on Sunday.
“I’m going to get off the ballot in other states, and then we’re going to stay on the ballot in 30 states. And, you know, I’m encouraging people to vote for me in those states, those are states, they’re all red or all blue states where their votes are not going to change the outcome of the race. And in the in the states where I would have been a spoiler, I’m going to get out,” Kennedy said.
Nothing illegal about this, but unethical, yeah.
Par for the course for guys like Trump and Kennedy.
