Richmond Police announce details of arrest in Feb. 4 Coalter Street homicide

Richmond Police have made an arrest in the homicide that occurred last month on Coalter Street.

Orlando Logan, 24, of Richmond, was indicted and charged with murder, use of a firearm, discharge firearm in a public place, and possession of a firearm by a violent felon in relation to the homicide of Nathaniel Mangram, 22, of Richmond.

Logan was served his indictments on March 14.

At approximately 1:52 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, officers were called to the 1300 block of Coalter Street for the report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Mangram, down and unresponsive in the front yard of a structure. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
