Richmond: Overnight hit-and-run kills pedestrian, sends another to hospital

Richmond Police are investigating an overnight hit-and-run on Snead Road that killed one pedestrian and sent another to the hospital.

An adult female and adult male were struck while walking in the roadway in the 4900 block of Snead Road, according to police, who responded to the scene at 2:27 a.m. Saturday.

The male victim was pronounced deceased on scene, and the female victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
