A Richmond man was shot and killed in a parking lot at an apartment complex on Ruffin Road Saturday night.

According to Richmond Police, Malcolm Coleman, 29, of Richmond, was found unresponsive in the parking lot at the complex on the 2200 block of Ruffin Road from a gunshot wound at 9:54 p.m.

Coleman was transported to a local hospital, where last night he succumbed to his injury.
