Richmond Flying Squirrels making push for fans, playoffs in final week

The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are excited to announce that they have added even more promotional power to the final four games of the regular season, September 4-7 at The Diamond.

In honor of the season ending on “Labor Day” all pregnant women will receive free admission for Monday’s 12:05 PM start against Reading.  Monday will also feature $1 hot dogs all game long as well as “Its 5 O’clock somewhere” happy hour from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. The Squirrels are three games out of a playoff spot and are also pushing to repeat as the annual attendance leader in the Eastern League. Fans will receive a free 2016 Early Bird Magnet Schedule after ALL four games. The full four game promotional schedule is as follows:

Friday, September 4^th – Free Shirt Friday (1^st, 1000 fans 15 and up), Happy Hour & Ladies Night presented by Orangetheory Fitness. Show your college ID for a $5.00 ticket offer (best available).  Kids run the bases after the game presented by McDonald’s and Richmond Family Magazine. Craft Beer fall tasting & buffet in the PFG Picnic Zone. Gates open at 5:30 PM.

Saturday, September 5^th – Superblast Saturday Fireworks and 20th Anniversary Celebration of the movie Billy Madison. Sunday, September 6^th – Kids Club Metal Lunchbox Giveaway (1^st 1,500 14 & under) presented by Richmond Times-Dispatch. Final 2015 Kids Club celebration and all kids club members will receive a food and beverage coupon when they check in to the Kids Club table in front of the Diamond. The Squirrels eight game road trip continues Monday with game one of four in Harrisburg. Squirrels LHP Kelvin Marte (10-5, 2.38) will make the start against Senators RHP Colin Bates (5-5, 4.00). First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 with the Pregame Warmup beginning at6:40 PM on Fox Sports 910 and FoxSportsRichmond.com.
