The Potomac Nationals (63-49, 25-18) used two home runs and six RBIs from LF Randolph Oduber as well as six scoreless innings from LHP Matthew Spann (W, 8-5) to rout the Winston-Salem Dash (54-61, 24-22) 10-2 on Wednesday night.

CF Isaac Ballou contributed with a triple and a run as well. Ballou fell a home run shy of the cycle scoring a pair of runs and knocking in two.
The P-Nats added three more in the fourth with Ballou’s two-run double and an Oduber RBI-groundout. Oduber’s second homer came in the eighth off LHP Jose Bautista to right field.
Spann put fourth his best effort of the season over his six innings. He allowed a single hit while striking out four without allowing a walk. Dash RHP James Dykstra (L, 2-1) took the loss, surrendering eight earned runs over his 3.1 innings of work. Nationals’ LHP Jake Walsh recorded the rare four-strikeout inning to end the game in the ninth.
