billandtedThe Paramount Theater in Charlottesville will screen the cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure on Sunday, May 31 at 2PM.

Bring a friend, and travel back to 1989 to see this favorite on the big screen with the new 4K HD projector.  Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in person at The Paramount’s Box Office or online.  Tickets are $4 for youth (12 and under) and $6 for adults.

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a 1989 American science fiction comedy and the first film in the Bill & Ted franchise. Its unconventional premise features two time-traveling slackers who bend the rules of physics to assemble a hilarious hodgepodge of historical figures for their high school history presentation.

Written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon and directed by Stephen Herek of 101 Dalmatians fame, the film stars a young Keanu Reeves as Ted “Theodore” Logan and Alex Winter as Bill S. Preston, Esquire.

Now considered a cult classic, it spawned a sequel, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. Come join The Paramount on a whimsical trip through time and party on, dudes!
