Orioles lose again: Texas wins, 4-3

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesA Bobby Wilson sixth-inning RBI double broke a 3-3 tie and lifted Texas to a 4-3 win over Baltimore Saturday night.

The loss was the ninth in 10 games for the Orioles (63-66), who fell to four and a half back of the Rangers (67-61) in the race for the second wild-card spot in the American League.

Ubaldo Jimenez (9-9, 4.34 ERA) took the loss for the O’s, giving up four runs on eight hits in five and two-thirds innings of work, striking out three and walking three.

Martin Perez (2-3, 5.15 ERA) got the win for Texas, giving up three runs on seven hits in six and a third innings, striking out four without issuing a walk.
