Operation Snow Eagle: Virginia operation rounds up fugitives, seizes $11.5M in narcotics

A Virginia State Police coordinated operation resulted in 603 felony and 136 misdemeanor arrests and took more than $11.5 million of narcotics off the streets.

Operation Snow Eagle also rounded up 134 fugitives with the support of federal, state and local agencies from Feb. 23 through March 1.

According to VSP, they also arrested 28 probation/parole absconders and served 111 search warrants.

The operation resulted in the seizure of more than 400 pounds of narcotics and 1,200 controlled substance pills estimated at $11.5 million.

The operation also recovered 106 firearms, five vehicles and seized $237,318 in cash.
