Norfolk woman in custody in stabbing that left man with life-threatening injuries

Norfolk Police have arrested and charged a woman in connection with a stabbing on Thursday.

Allyson R. Lyons, 37, of Norfolk, was taken into custody at the scene of the 4:40 p.m. incident, at the intersection of Monticello Avenue and East 20th Streeet, and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.

The 39-year-old male victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of what were described as life-threatening injuries.
