Update: Four-year-old child abducted in Norfolk found safe

According to Virginia State Police, the child has been found safe. The Amber Alert was cancelled as a result.

 

amber alert kia foreman abducted norfolk An Amber Alert has been issued after a four-year-old boy was abducted in Norfolk and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Kai Foreman, 4, is Black, with brown eyes and black hair. The child is three feet, six inches tall and weighs approximately 40 pounds. The missing child was last seen wearing red Crocs, blue shorts and a grey True Religion t-shirt. (First name is misspelled in flyer sent by VSP).

The child is believed to have been abducted by Tyli Nekah Scott, 27, who is Black with his hair in small braids. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weights 173 pounds. He was last seen wearing khakis, a plaid shirt and a ski mask.

The suspect and child were last seen on foot in the 900 block of East Liberty Street in Norfolk.

Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued the Amber Alert at 11:40 a.m.
