Summer in the Shenandoah Valley rolls out a variety of festival opportunities, and the 5th annual Summer Blues and Brews Festival set for August 3, 2013 at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton has become a mainstay for music lovers from all over the Shenandoah Valley region.
“We are very excited to have the legendary Nighthawks headlining Blues & Brews this year,” says John Huggins, owner of Shenandoah Concerts, organizers of the event. “Besides the exciting music lineup, festival goers will be treated to a fine selection of local brews, artisan crafts and top-notch local food choices. It’s going to be a great day of entertainment and fun.”
This year’s Summer Blues & Brews Festival will highlight the Central Valley Blues Society, a local organization aimed at promoting, preserving and advancing the blues tradition in Central Virginia.
